Director of the Norwegian Polar Institute

The director of the Norwegian Polar Institute, Olav Orheim, will leave
his position this autumn at the end of his second six-year long term as
director. The NPI is under the Norwegian Ministry of the Environment and
is Norway's main institution for research, environmental monitoring, and
topographic mapping in Norwegian polar regions. The Institute also
advises Norwegian authorities on matters concerning polar environmental
management. Applicants must master Norwegian (Swedish/Danish) as well as
the English language.
