The December 2004 issue (Vol. 57, No. 4) of ARCTIC is dedicated to
papers on Human Dimensions of the Arctic System. This issue, sponsored
by the HARC Science Management Office and guest edited by Henry
Huntington, is available from the journal's office at the Arctic
Institute of North America: http://www.ucalgary.ca/aina
The papers describe a significant part of what has been accomplished
through the Human Dimensions of the Arctic System (HARC) component of
the U.S. National Science Foundation program on Arctic System Science
(ARCSS), and should provide a valuable reference for researchers
interested in human dimensions in the Arctic and beyond.
