Thermokarst Project announces the fourth webinar in the Spring 2012
Career Development Webinar Series, scheduled for Wednesday, 29 February
2012 at 6:00 p.m. GMT. You can look up alternate time zones at:

This week's webinar is entitled "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Tips
for Successful Photography in the Polar Regions" and will be presented
by Chris Linder, scientist and professional photographer affiliated with
the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the International League of
Conservation Photographers. Linder will share his tips on what
works--and what doesn't--when photographing science in the Arctic and
Antarctica. A brief introduction on light and composition will be
followed by a critique of photos submitted by APECS members.
