The National Science Foundation's (NSF) Office of Polar Programs seeks
applicants for the position of Deputy Division Director, Antarctic
Infrastructure and Logistics Division (AIL). The position will be based
in Arlington, Virginia.
The Deputy Division Director is a member of the AIL management team and
participates with the Division Director in providing leadership and
direction to the AIL Division. Activities of the Division are to provide
logistics, infrastructure, and science support needed for the conduct of
the U.S. Antarctic Program (USAP) research programs. The incumbent
serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the AIL Division and is
responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day activities of
the Division.
Appointment to this Senior Executive Service position will be on a
career basis, with a salary range of $155,550 to $172,373. The full job
