28th Lowell Wakefield Fisheries Symposium
26-29 March 2013
Anchorage, Alaska
Organizers of the 28th Lowell Wakefield Fisheries Symposium, entitled
"Responses of Arctic Marine Ecosystems to Climate Change," announce a
call for abstracts. Alaska Sea Grant, University of Alaska Fairbanks,
and others are sponsoring the meeting, which will be held 26-29 March
2013 in Anchorage, Alaska.
The symposium aims to advance understanding of present and future
responses of arctic marine ecosystems to climate change at all trophic
levels. Organizers encourage contributions that focus on collaborative
approaches to understanding and managing living marine resources in a
changing Arctic and to managing local, regional, and global human
responses to changing arctic marine ecosystems.
Abstract submission deadline: 30 November 2012.
