Organizers of the 2013 American Geophysical Union (AGU) Science Policy
Conference announce that the deadline for the call for poster abstracts has
been extended to Monday, 22 April 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The conference
will be convened 24-26 June 2013 at the Walter E. Washington Convention
Center in Washington, D.C.
The conference brings together hundreds of earth and space scientists,
students, policymakers, and industry professionals to discuss key earth
and space science topics that address challenges to our economy,
national security, environment, and public safety. In addition to
presenting research and making valuable connections, attendees will also
have the opportunity to learn about the latest and most pressing science
policy topics from experts in academia, industry, and federal agencies.
Poster abstract submission is now open, and can be completed online at:
http://spc.agu.org/2013/posters. Poster abstracts must be relevant to
science and policy within the topics of the conference. The 2013 meeting
will focus on the science that helps inform policymakers' decisions
related to energy, natural hazards, technology and infrastructure,
climate, oceans, and the Arctic. The Program Committee may decline to
consider abstracts with other focus.
Extended abstract submission deadline:
Monday, 22 April 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
