Applications are now open for the 2014 IGSBB which will be held 8–9 September at the Bristol Glaciology Centre, University of Bristol. Please go to http://www.igsoc.org/about/britishbranch/meetings/bristol2014/ to register and submit your abstract for the meetings. We invite oral and poster presentations in all areas of glaciology/Antarctic science.
Registration and abstract submission closes on Friday 1st August.
Polar photo competition:
During the meeting week we are also holding a polar photo competition. The deadline is the same for the registration and abstract submission (1st August). Up to 3 photos may be submitted at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/polarpic.
Please name your files “Surname_Firstname_Photonumber”. After submitting your photo please email tamsin.edwards [at] bristol.ac.uk with:
- Where the photo(s) were taken
- Caption(s) about the image, place, and/or work (science or otherwise) being don on the trip
