The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Geoscience and
Remote Sensing Society (IEEE GRSS) wishes to inform the community that
the website for the WHISPERS '09 Workshop has been updated. The
"Workshop on Hyperspectral Image and Signal Processing: Evolution in
Remote Sensing," (WHISPERS) will be held in Grenoble, France, 26-28
August 2009.
The newly updated website includes templates for paper submissions and
other important information about the workshop. The deadline for
submission of abstracts is Tuesday, 31 March 2009.
The aim of WHISPERS is to gather researchers working with hyperspectral
data and spectroscopy, from physical modeling, acquisition and
calibration, to data processing and applications. Further information is
