The University of Colorado and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA) are hosting an open meeting, Unmanned Aircraft
Systems In the Arctic: Capabilities, Recent Developments, and Future
Plans, on Thursday, 13 December 2007, during the American Geophysical
Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in San Francisco, California. The meeting will
be held from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the San Francisco Marriott in Room
Sierra A on the fifth floor.
The meeting will consist of brief presentations on unmanned aircraft
capabilities, recent developments, and future plans. The format will be
an open roundtable discussion on the benefits that unmanned aircraft
systems offer the Arctic and some practical discussions on steps
necessary to fly in the Arctic. All interested parties are invited to
attend.
