The Department of Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) at George Mason
University, an interdisciplinary unit spanning the natural and social
sciences, invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor
position in Environmental Policy to begin Fall 2005. The successful
candidate will hold a Ph.D. at time of hiring, pursue an active
externally-funded research program, aspire to excellence in teaching at
the graduate and undergraduate level, and engage in interdisciplinary
collaboration.
Applicants should submit a letter of intent detailing research
interests, courses they are prepared to teach, and anticipated niche in
the Department program; a curriculum vitae; examples of published work;
teaching evaluations (if available); and three letters of reference.
