The Department of Geography at Universite Laval (Quebec City, Canada)
announces a professor position in geomorphology, with specialization in
Northern Environments. The applicant's interests may be in any field of
geomorphology (periglacial, permafrost, Quaternary geology, coastal,
fluvial, slope processes, sedimentological environments, etc.).
Qualifications required:
- Ph.D. with training in geography at either the B.A., B.Sc., M.A.,
M.Sc. or doctorate level.
Availability for teaching at the undergraduate and the graduate
levels.Willingness to do team research and to get involved in funded
research with "Centre d'études Nordiques" (http://www.cen.ulaval.ca).
Although most of our staff is bilingual, the working and living
environment is French. The successful applicant will have to teach in
French. Language training, however, will be offered to the selected
applicant if necessary.
