Fitzroy Dearborn's "Encyclopedia of the Arctic," edited by Mark Nuttall,
was announced in January 2001 and is scheduled for publication in Spring
2003. As of April 2001, some 65 percent of the entries have been
assigned.
Writers, academics, or residents of the Arctic who are interested in
contributing some of the remaining unassigned entries should look at the
project web site (http://www.fitzroydearborn.com/london/arctic.htm),
where you will find the list of unassigned entries in alphabetical
order (http://www.fitzroydearborn.com/london/arctic_unass.htm) as well
as other useful information about the project. Offers to write entries
should be emailed to the commissioning editor:

The list of unassigned entries sorted by category is available on
request and can be sent to you as an email attachment (Word document),
