TWIN SYMPOSIUM ON COLD AQUATIC ENVIRONMENT
13-17 May 2001
Iceland

The Nordic Benthological Society (NORBS) and The Myvatn Research Station
are organizing a joint symposium with the above title in May 2001.

The symposium is divided into two meetings:

FIRST MEETING The 4th NORBS meeting at Akureyri, Iceland from 13-14 May
2001.

THEME: Benthos in cold regions.

Excursion to Lake Myvatn on 15 May (Tuesday).

SECOND MEETING The Myvatn Symposium on Arctic and Subarctic Freshwater
Ecosystems from 15-17 May 2001 at Lake Myvatn.

THEME: Subarctic Lake Myvatn as a model for long- and short-term
ecosystem changes.
