The Prospectus for the Russian-American Initiative on Shelf-Land Environments in the Arctic (RAISE) is now available.
The RAISE Steering Committee was supported by the ARCSS Program to conduct three workshops in the U.S. and Russia that led to the development of a science prospectus. The RAISE prospectus can be viewed at http://www.arcus.org/RAISE/ or obtained from ARCUS arcus [at] arcus.org.
ARCSS will consider proposals that address RAISE research priorities. Proposals should demonstrate both clear connections to the goals of RAISE and ARCSS themes in the program's long-range plan, which may be viewed at http://www.arcus.org/ARCSS_Plan/ or obtained from ARCUS arcus [at] arcus.org. ARCSS strongly encourages submission of interdisciplinary proposals; the next target date is August 1, 1998.
