Dear Colleague:
If you are interested in the completeness of the list of Toolik Field
Station-based Publications and Theses, read on. Otherwise, disregard and
delete this message.
ARCUS, on behalf of the arctic research community, is preparing a document
recommending improvements to the Toolik Field Station (TFS), which
is managed by the Institute of Arctic Biology at University of Alaska
Fairbanks.
As part of the TFS Report, we are attempting to compile a comprehensive
listing of Toolik-based publications and theses. Although we have
collected references from many sources, including a variety of Toolik-based
research projects, we believe that the list is not complete.
If you are interested in the completeness of this publications list, please
review "Toolik-based Publications and Theses" accessible through ARCUS' Web
site http://arcus.polarnet.com/TFS.html. Send missing references to
ARCUS by Friday, 6 September 1996 in order to include them in the published
report. If you cannot access the World Wide Web, contact ARCUS and we will
email or fax the publications list to you.
We will maintain "Toolik-based Publications and Theses" on the ARCUS Web
site until December 1996. References received after Friday, 6 September
1996 will be included there. In 1997, the publications list will be turned
over to the Institute of Arctic Biology at University of Alaska Fairbanks
for maintenance.
If you wish to review the entire draft TFS report, you can download the pdf
version available at http://arcus.polarnet.com/TFS.html. The report will
be published and distributed in mid-September 1996.
Sincerely,
Wendy K. Warnick
Executive Officer
