The Department of Environmental Science and Analytical Chemistry (ACES) at Stockholm University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in molecular biogeochemistry of permafrost systems. This six-year, tenure-track faculty position will be located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Research in the Biogeochemistry Unit focuses on the major biogeochemical cycles and anthropogenic perturbations of these. Researchers combine field studies, modeling, and advanced analytical methods, including compound specific isotope analysis, to study sources and processes in water, air, and terrestrial ecosystems.
In order to qualify for the position, the applicant must have completed a doctoral degree in Sweden or an equivalent degree from another country. In the first instance, an applicant should have received their degree no more than five years before the deadline for applications. However, an applicant who has received such a degree earlier may be considered under special circumstances.
