The Navigating the New Arctic Community Office announces their upcoming webinar, COVID Pandemic Guidance for Field & Community-Based Research. This webinar will take place Thursday, 29 April from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. AKDT (2:00-4:00 p.m. EDT).
This virtual event will feature a panel of experts who will discuss and share timely information for those planning fieldwork this summer regarding COVID-19-related protocols, guidance, and restrictions at local and regional levels across the Arctic. Panelists will also discuss how COVID safety protocols intersect with other field safety concerns. The panel discussion will be followed by break-out groups organized to discuss regional contexts, resources, and evolving situations.
This event is open to all interested participants.
Organizers will record the panel discussions during this event and compile related resources to share with those who are unable to attend.
